Dave Stoltzfus

Dave grew up around Lancaster and Manheim, Pennsylvania listening to many different styles of music on records, 8-track and cassette tapes.  Early influences were bands such as AC/DC, Foreigner, Rainbow, Van Halen, Led Zeppelin and southern rock legends  the Outlaws, Blackfoot and Lynard Skynard.  Local bands around Pennsylvania called Torch, Fullmoon, Winter City, Auburn and Hybrid Ice also played a major role in his desire to play music.  Sometime in his mid 20's he learned to play the saxophone and in his early 30's he turned to acoustic and electric guitars.  Lead and backup vocals came when he and Beth Getzen, along with Justin Gerrish formed the Strays in 2002.  The Strays won Local's Choice/Best Band awards - Gold in 2003, Bronze in 2005, Silver in 2006 and Bronze in 2010.  He was also a founding member of a band called In the Pocket, which is now called Already Gone.  In 2010, the Stray's became what is now, Fifty50.  A very diverse, eclectic and dedicated band playing classic, modern and original rock music

. . .  it has been my pleasure to play with so many amazing musicians through the years.
Rock on!!!
